Good day, dear parents,
The festival atmosphere heated up during the past week. There were various activities including singing, publicity for the Flea Market, and book sale browsing. Besides, we had MAP testing.
I’m here to communicate the results of the MAP testing in September to you.
G1 & G2 had English Reading and Math while G3-G9 had language usage as well. I will show you the results compared to the peers.
The average level of TAS students is way higher than that of American peers.
When compared to the average score of domestic international schools, we can also see steps higher, especially G2, G7, G8 and G9.
G2 is much better than American peers. G1, G3, G4 and G9 have better results than American ones. G5 & G7 is a bit lower. G6 & G8 have a lot to improve compared to the peers in U.S.
If we take Chinese international schools for comparison, G2 and G9 behave better. G1, G4, and G7 are at the same level. G3, G5 G8, and G8 is a bit lower.
G3 is far higher than American ones. G4, G5, G7, and G8 are better and G6 is at the same level.
G7 is much better than their peers in other domestic international schools. G3 & G9 are a bit higher. G4 & G5 are at the same level. G6 & G8 are lower. Gladly, our students are shining more brightly than those from other international schools in Chinese language.
We invited students to grade teachers at the beginning of December. The results are satisfactory in general while some students and teachers have reached intimate bonds. We’ve talked to the teachers to make sure every student can feel the love from them and enjoy their school life in a loving environment.
We will have Flea Market tomorrow afternoon. You may walk in after 2 p.m. We are longing for your support and help students raise money!
